USUKAN WRECKS

Historical ship wrecks from the World War II

The Usukan wrecks are 3 Japanese vessel that was torpedoed by American Submarine in the Second World War on a journey to support the Japanese Naval Forces during the Battle of Leyte in the Phillippines. The local fishermen are frequenting the wrecks for the abundance of fish they can get there and likewise dive operators are recognising the area as one of the more interesting dive site in Sabah. Our dive to the wrecks will start from Kota Kinabalu where you will be picked up at Jesselton Point then endure a 1 1/2 hour journey by boat to get to the wrecks. You will do 2 dives on the wreck with a 2 hour surface interval and have a picnic styled lunch between the dives.
